Meet our Doctors

Dr. Hight is originally from Hickory, NC. He attended North Carolina State University as an undergraduate studying zoology and received his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989. From 1989 through 1995, he practiced at a small animal veterinarian hospital in Raleigh, NC. Dr. Hight, his wife, Lori, and their son, David, relocated to the Charlotte area in 1995 to form Hight Veterinary Hospital, PA. He has been practicing at Hight Veterinary Hospital, PA since its opening in May 1997. Dr. Hight and his family have a very happy beagle named Lily and a very playful Plott hound rescue dog named Bongo.

Dr. Fine is originally from Perrysburg, Ohio. She obtained a Bachelor of Science from the University of Richmond where she was a member of the university dance company, a member of the Alpha Phi sisterhood, and founded the pre-veterinary club.

Dr. Fine earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University where she was the vice-president of the student chapter of the American Association of Zoo Veterinarians. She completed in certification in Veterinary Acupuncture from the Chi Institute on the first day of Chinese New Year 2012. When not working, she enjoys practicing tai chi, dancing, cooking, and attending performing arts events.
